Make a printable brick STL from any object
Want to 3D print a brick-built version of something? Brickalike turns a scan or 3D model into a printable brick STL, either one piece or a kit of separate bricks. Here is what is in each file, and what to expect from a home printer.

One-piece brick STL: print the model whole
One file, one print, no assembly. It looks brick-built but the bricks are not separable. You choose the size before you download:
- Small, 100mm on the longest side
- Medium, 150mm
- Real brick size, at standard stud spacing
The site shows the size, an estimated print time and an estimated filament weight for your model before you pay. The file arrives upright, sitting on the bed, in millimetres. Studs are only modelled where they are visible. Print at 0.2mm layers; stepped sides usually print without supports, but big overhangs still need them.
Brick kit STL: 3D print the bricks themselves
Real hollow bricks with studs and clutch tubes, to click together, plus a print list (CSV) of every brick.
Preview it free, pay once to download
Scanning, the 3D preview, the brick count and the parts list on screen are free. Saving the files (one-piece STL, brick kit, parts lists and building manual) is a one-off €12, with secure checkout by Stripe. One unlock code works on up to 3 browsers or devices.
